IS BEING A MEMBER GREAT VALUE?
Yes, it certainly is! Every booking comes with anywhere from $10k to 30k of equipment which we check and prepare, then clean, maintain, recharge and store for you afterwards!

CAN I BUY THE EQUIPMENT I BOOK?
Yes, mostly. If the equipment is still available to buy, you can almost certainly get it through our Retail Partners, at a great member discount!

SHOULD I JOIN THE CLUB BEFORE I BUY MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
Yes, unless you're sure you know what you want, it's a great idea to try out a whole lot of different products before you chose your own. And as a club member, you don't have the hassle of having a salesman breathing down your neck on a short test ride - you can play all day!

IS ALL THE EQUIPMENT THE LATEST?
No, whilst we do have a lot of brand new equipment being added to our fleet all the time, we also keep the classics for our members who are familiar with them and want us to keep providing them.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
No, we do our best to make sure there aren't. We even break everything down on the Pricing page so you don't get any surprises.

IS USAGE UNLIMITED?
Yes, for most members, you'll be able to book great equipment every tie you want it. But we do have to operate a "fair use" policy for our members to protect them from other members who expect that they'll have the same access as if they owned the equipment themselves and try to book it out every day.

CAN I ALWAYS BOOK MY FAVOURITE?
No, we can't promise that, this is a shared club model, and like every club, the resources are shared between members. But we will do our best to make sure that the most popular equipment is available at the most locations and in good numbers.

CAN I BOOK THE SAME DAY?
Yes, but less equipment will be available than if you plan ahead, so we recommend booking at least 72 hours beforehand.

CAN I SHARE THE EQUIPMENT?
Yes, that's one of the great things about The Water Sports Club! We only ask that the member always collects and returns the equipment, and all users are appropriately licensed, have signed our Waiver, and have been trained by us (for e-foil and e-surf usage).

ARE THERE ANY PENALTIES FOR LATE RETURNS?
Yes, you can see our late return fees, never return fees and damage fees in our Terms and Conditions (link in the footer).

WHAT IF THE EQUIPMENT GETS STOLEN?
You are responsible for all equipment you take from us. You must return it on the time agreed or we will charge for replacement of the equipment, plus administration costs. Keep it secure!

IS THE CLUB INSURED?
Yes, we hold a $20 million public liability insurance policy which covers any lessons run by any of our qualified and approved Club Operators.
Stay safe, stay legal and be considerate of others. Watch out for other waterway users and hazards. And comply with our club terms and conditions. Then you should have a great day on the water!

WHAT INFO DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
We need a copy of your driver's license, your watercraft license (boat/PWC) if applicable, your car rego, and you to make payment with your credit card. Everything must be under the member's name and the addresses must match. We reserve the right to deny membership if we have any concerns regarding the safety of others on the water or the security of our equipment.
